Buying a New Kitchen TV?

Looking to buy a brand new kitchen TV for your house? There are a lot of solutions out there, and you might most tempted to go for a LCD TV another flat screen TV and install it on some table or even at the desk.

There are another solution that might be better for you and that is to get one of those under counter TVs you can install right under the cabinets or for that matter under the roof if you wanted to do so.

There are a lot of advantages with an under cabinet TV compared using a flat screen TV.

First of all you might get tired of having a big TV in the kitchen because it will take up a lot of space that will limit your work in the kitchen.

Next they will get dirty from the stain, humidity and moisture from the cooking, which can quite a hassle to clean up.

And finally a LCD TV is not really build to be installed in the kitchen so it will probably end up with a shorter life time compared to if you had installed it in the living room.

With an under counter TV it is much different. The components are build for a more rough neigh boor hood so it will be much better capable of handling all the steam and moisture from the kitchen.

The other great benefit is that it does not take up so much space from tables and desks because they are not being used for the TV because it is installed under the Cabinets.

With the swivel movement that comes along you will also have much more liberty to move around in your kitchen without having to move the TV around all the time.

Most under the counter TVs comes as a TV DVD combo so there are no need to have extra room for the either, if you want to be able to watch a DVD movie. Some of the can even record your favorite TV programs in case you do not have time to watch it.

There are for sure a lot of benefits using an under counter TV as your new kitchen TV and the only negative might be the side of the TV screen. They are smaller than the LCD s because they have to be more moveable than a regular TV.

But if you are working anyway, I do not think that you really need a huge TV, because often it is just “the noise” we kind of want from the TV, while we are doing what we are doing, and the opportunity to stop working if something caught our interest for a short period of time.

One of the greatest advantages with these TVs compared to the bigger LCD is absolutely the price. You can get away investing only a couple of hundreds dollars for a decent TV with all the features you need.

If you want to buy an under counter you can either go for a brand like Sony, Phillips or Toshiba but there are a lot of money to save by choosing a brand like for example Coby, Audiovox or Venturer, they are just as good and sometimes even better than the more expensive brands.

Under cabinet TVs can sometimes be hard to find in your local market and can be over priced. The best option you can do if you are interested is to head over to Amazon there you will find the best prices and services when it comes to buying you new kitchen TV.
